Why I fell in love with Catering……
My childhood was the beginning of my love of catering!! My parents owned and operated James Country Grocery in Farragut and Tabor, Iowa. When I was in the second grade, I was earning spending money by carrying groceries and bagging ice. I was so lucky to work side-by-side with my parents. They taught me many valuable lessons like the importance of great customer service, going the extra mile for your customers, and how to love your job. Around 1990, James Grocery started catering for local businesses. As time passed, the business grew into weddings, parties, and graduations. Before I knew it, I was in college and catering to put myself through school! Call me crazy, but I love the challenges and hard work that goes with this business. I really enjoy helping my clients make their event special.

Farragut, Iowa is my hometown and holds a special place in my heart. I graduated as a Farragut Admiral and went on to graduate from Iowa Western Community College and Peru State College with a bachelor’s degree in business.
